The Secretlab MAGNUS was designed to work with the vast majority of monitor arms with a screw clamp length of under 100mm. The offset gap in front of the rear hinged cover is wide enough to accommodate the clamping mechanism of most arms, while still allowing you to set your desk flush against the wall.

United StatesVery goood desk, small nitpicks
Overall I am loving the desk, very sturdy, the up/down motion is smooth and quiet, the controls are intuitive (kudos for using centimeters instead of inches!) Small nitpicks: the hinges of the cable tray seem to be aluminum instead of steel - I ended up stripping the threads in one of them which is my fault, but had it been steel like everything else it wouldn't have happened (or maybe a sticker warning on the part). The other nitpick is that the metal ends of the desk mat are a bit annoying to put on and come loose too easily - a way to secure them would be welcome.

I recently got the Secretlab Magnus Pure White desk, and overall, it’s a solid addition to my workspace. However, I have some mixed feelings. Let’s start with the positives. The motorized adjustment mechanism is excellent—it’s smooth, quiet, and makes switching between sitting and standing effortless. The desk's leather surface feels premium and adds a touch of sophistication. I’m also intrigued to try the velvet surface option in the future for a different aesthetic and texture. Now for the not-so-great part: the Nanoleaf LED light strip. While the lighting itself is beautiful and adds a great ambiance to the setup, the magnetic attachment for the strip was a big letdown. The magnet detached almost immediately after installation, which is disappointing, especially considering it’s an extra €70+ upgrade. This small flaw takes away from the premium feel of the desk—something you’d expect to be flawless at this price point. For such an investment, these details really matter, and it’s frustrating when they fall short. That said, the Magnus desk still stands out as a game-changer for anyone spending hours working or gaming. The thoughtful design and functionality of the desk make it a must-have for serious setups. Despite the hiccup with the LED light, it’s a product I’d recommend, but I hope Secretlab addresses these minor quality issues to maintain its premium reputation.
