You can perform a quick reset of your Secretlab MAGNUS Pro by pressing and holding the “Down” button until “RST” is displayed on the digital panel and a beep is heard.
If your standing desk remains unresponsive, please disconnect it from power and allow the Control Box to rest for at least 10 seconds, before reconnecting it to power.
Do also check that the Control Box is securely attached to the metal desk top, all cables are properly connected and there are no obstructions which may trigger the anti-collision system.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue or there is a specific error code showing in the digital panel, please refer to our troubleshooting guide. Should your issue persist, please get in touch with our support team.

No, you do not have to use the Secretlab MAGPAD™ with the Secretlab MAGNUS. However, we strongly recommend doing so to protect your standing desk’s surface. In addition, the plush leatherette delivers a more comfortable feel under the skin compared to steel.

I had never purchased Secretlab products until December 2024, and now I can't imagine ever purchasing a desk or chair anywhere else. The online purchasing experience was perfectly easy, but what really stood out was the packaging, materials and instructions. The desk and chair were perfectly packaged, using durable foam material with pre-cut slots for the various parts. Even the few needed tools were similarly well packed. Also, with one minor exception, the instructions were intuitive and easy to follow. In sum, assembly was easy, low-stress and relatively quick. I was so impressed with the experience, that I now hold up this company as an example of what other tech/gaming companies should do.

While sit-to-stand desks get pricey, I am finding that they are 10/10 worth it to improve your health for anyone sitting for long periods of time. After much consideration & research the desk I chose to go with is the secretlab MAGNUS Pro XL. I selected this one for a few reasons. #1: It has a very handy fully integrated power supply column. This means that it has a built in electrical socket to help cut cable clutter.. which brings me to my next reason. #2: They went above & beyond for cable management by offering a full-length cable management tray. You can obtain a clean aesthetic by placing all of your cables in this tray, including your power strip. #3: There are seemingly endless add-one & accessories that you can opt to add to your bundle including monitor arms, a pc mount, and their MAGPAD desk mat (leatherette or suede) that I would highly recommend to protect your investment.
